Biomimicry (Botany With A Twist)

For Susy's botany class today I showed the following lecture by Janine Benyus about biomimicry.  I'm thinking this lady is saying things that may point to a way out of our environmental mess.  What do you think?  Wouldn't it be cool for Yampah students to be part of a whole movement toward these changes?

Speaking of Melting Ice

I heard this guy, James Balog, last April at the Wheeler.

He was pretty good and showed a great little video of Manhattan sized chunks of ice crashing into the bays off Greenland.

Makes you sink, I mean think.

Venturing Where Others Fear To Blog

Yampah does happen.

So do glaciers.

So here I am floating around in the blogosphere (sp?) and Molly and friends are floating around Mt. Blanc.

I suspect at some point someone will blog (it is a verb too, isn't it?) something that warrants a response,  before the ice melts.

And we'll follow it from there.

In the meantime I'm blogging out.

Cheers,

Aaron
